LED UV Curing Systems

UV curing refers to the unique way in which coatings, inks and adhesives are dried using “energy” from UV light sources rather than using heat  or evaporation.

Phoseon Technology pioneered the use of LED technology for UV curing in commercial and industrial applications. UV curing dries inks, coatings, adhesives and other UV sensitive materials through polymerization instead of evaporation. LED curing technology uses semiconductor-based Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to project ultraviolet (UV) light when an electric current is passed through the junction. These solid-state devices provide instant on-off ability with no warm-up time or mechanical shutters.

Phoseon FIREFLY 50/25 UV LED Curing Lamps

 

 

The Phoseon FireFly is an air cooled small form factor UV LED curing  lamp with peak intensities up to 8W/cm². The FireFly product is ideal for small area and spot cure applications in the UV curing of  adhesives, inks, electronic materials and biomedical materials.

Phoseon STARFIRE MAX UV Curing Lamps

The StarFire MAX ™ is a water cooled UV curing lamp with configurable  emitting lengths of 75mm, 150mm & 300mm with an emitting width of  20mm. The Starfire MAX continues the Phoseon tradition of innovation in  bringing ever higher capability “industrial strength” UV solutions to  market at competitive price levels.

Phoseon FIREFLEX Water Cooled UV LED Curing Lamps

The FireFlex™ is designed as a scalable high power water cooled UV LED  curing lamp aimed primarily at high performance/high speed single pass  UV inkjet applications but with uses in a wide variety of web/conveyor  based UV curing applications. The FireFlex architecture is designed to  allow the systems to be scalable in 75mm increments to as much as 2m in  length with a variety of peak irradiance and total UV power  specifications based on customer and application needs.
